Floating down one of the most scenic stretches of river in the country, this WV tubing trip takes place in the Potomac River Gap by Harpers Ferry. Tubers drifting by historic Harpers Ferry National Park have a spectacular view of Maryland Heights and the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers. Tubers can take in the view of West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland as they pass by Harpers Ferry National Park and the C & O Canal.
The Shenandoah tubing trip was developed as an inexpensive, on your own “kickback and enjoy” tubing trip. You park your car where the trip ends, and we’ll shuttle you 1 ½ miles upriver where you will splash and play through some small rapids before beginning your leisurely float down the river. Dropping over shallow ledges along the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you are sure to enjoy this mellow and beautiful stretch of river. Youth and other groups may request a guide for the trip.
