Riverside Canoe Trips offers tube, canoe, kayak, raft, and paddleboard rentals to be used on the Lower Platte River. They are the only privately-run business inside the boundaries of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and offer two tubing trips. The short tubing trip is an hour and the long is 2 hours. The 2 hour trip ends at a beach on Lake Michigan where you can enjoy the rest of your day before leaving the water. They’ve been in business since 1964 and also offer a full service store, grill, and ice cream shop.
Note: Tubing on the Lower Platte River requires that you posses a valid park pass. Riverside Canoe Trips sells these passes and they are $5/person or $10/vehicle for 7 days or $20/vehicle for the full year.
