Description: The San Marcos River is spring fed and provides plenty of opportunities for river tubing. Most of this float is through the Texas State Campus and the city of San Marcos, but you’d never know it if we didn’t tell you! The river is beautiful and a joy to float!

Cost: Free (or small fee to rent tubes/shuttle from the Lions Club)
Note: This gauge does not tell the depth of the water throughout the entire float. It is measured in a single place to give an overall idea of the height of the river compared to other days measurements.
